Platform Integration: Website

I. Accessing the Settings Page

1. Path One: Add Web Customer Service Chat

Click "Customer Service Chat > Chat Platform" in the left menu, click "+ Connect Chat Platform" in the top right corner, and select "Website" platform

2. Path Two: AI Assistant Chat Platform Association

Go to "AI Features > AI Assistant" in the left function bar, select an AI assistant, click the "Actions" icon, then click "Associate Chat Platform" and select "Web XX Assistant"

3. Path Three: Chat Platform Operations

In "Customer Service Chat > Chat Platform" on the left function bar, select the AI assistant you want to configure, click the "Actions" icon to enter the chat platform configuration.

II. Basic Settings

1. Basic Settings

Set Platform Name

  • Enter the AI assistant name you want to display on your website in the "Platform Name" field

  • For example: "Customer Service Helper", "Smart Assistant", etc.

Select AI Assistant

  • Choose which AI assistant to use from the "AI Assistant" dropdown menu

  • This determines which AI assistant will answer questions in the chat room

Set Return URL

  • Enter your company website URL in the "Return URL" field

  • When users click the return button in the chat room, they will be redirected to this URL

Get and Use Public URL

  • The system will automatically generate a "Public Access URL"

  • You can:

    • Click the "Copy" button to copy the URL

    • Click the "Visit" button to open the chat room in a new window

    • Click the "Embed" button to get the embed code

    • Click the "Embed Preview" button to preview the embedding effect

2. Appearance Settings

Upload Company Logo

  • Click the upload button in the "Logo" area

  • Select your company logo image file

  • After uploading, preview will be shown and you can click delete to re-upload

Upload AI Assistant Avatar

  • Click the upload button in the "Avatar" area

  • Select an appropriate avatar image

  • After uploading, preview will be shown and you can click delete to re-upload

Set Color Theme

  • Click the "Theme Color" selector to choose the chat window title color

  • Click the "Title Text Color" selector to set the title text color

  • Click the "AI Assistant Reply Background Color" selector to set the background color of AI replies

Enable Theme Switching

  • Toggle the "Theme Mode Switch" to on

  • Users can switch between light and dark themes

3. Function Settings

Set Enable/Disable

  • Set whether the chat service is enabled for use

Set File Upload

  • Toggle "Allow File Upload" switch to on

  • Users can then upload files for AI analysis, such as images, documents, etc.

Set Reference Document Display

  • Toggle "Show Reference Documents" switch to on

  • AI will show referenced source documents when answering

Set Allow Download Reference Documents

  • Toggle "Allow Download Reference Documents" switch to on

  • Users can download referenced files from AI assistant conversations

Set Display Tools and Results

  • Toggle "Show Tools and Results" switch to on

  • System will indicate when processing through MCP or API operations

4. Interaction Settings

Set Welcome Message

  • Enter welcome message in the welcome message input box

  • For example: "Hello! I'm your smart customer service, how may I help you?"

  • Click "Add" button to add welcome message to list

  • You can add multiple welcome messages, system will randomly select one

  • To delete, click delete button on the right of corresponding item

Set Initial Chat Questions

  • Enter preset questions in the "Initial Chat Questions" input box

  • For example: "How to request a refund?", "What are your business hours?"

  • Click "Add" button to add question to list

  • These questions will be shown as quick options for users to click

  • To delete, click delete button on the right of corresponding item

5. Login Settings

Set SSO Login Source

  • MaiAgent currently supports SSO (Single Sign-On) service integration through Keycloak

  • Switch in the "Login Source" dropdown menu

  • Choose to use Maiagent or Keycloak as authentication method

III. Auto Reply Settings

You can set bot reply time periods here.

  • Click the toggle switch next to dates: Select which days of the week to reply.

  • Set time period: Select start time and end time.

  • Add time period: If multiple periods need to be set, click "+ Add Time Period" to add and set the period.
