# LINE LIFF: What Is LINE LIFF?

What is LINE LIFF (LINE Front-end Framework)？A framework for embedding web applications in the LINE app, and the benefits of opening MaiAgent Web Chat through LIFF.

### The Concept of LINE LIFF：

LINE LIFF (LINE Front-end Framework) is a web application framework provided by LINE that lets developers build web applications within the LINE app.

With LIFF, developers can embed custom web applications in LINE chat windows and interact with users through LINE's features, such as accessing users' LINE information, sending messages, and sharing content.

### Features of LINE LIFF：

* **Embedded Web Applications**

 Embed web pages in LINE so users can open and use them directly in chats or other contexts.
* **Access to LINE Features**

 Use the LIFF API to retrieve basic user information (such as user names and LINE User IDs) or access LINE features, such as sending messages and adding friends.
* **Cross-Platform Support**

 LIFF applications can be used on various devices, including mobile phones (iOS and Android) and desktop browsers, wherever LINE supports them.
* **Convenient Development and Deployment**

 Developers only need to deploy a Web application and register it on the LINE Developers platform to make it easy for users to access the application through LINE.

### **Use Cases for LINE LIFF：**

* **Membership Systems**
 * Use LIFF to integrate member data so users can log in with one click and link their LINE accounts.
* **E-Commerce**
 * Provide product lists and shopping cart features in chats, integrated with the payment flow.
* **Marketing Campaigns**
 * Create interactive campaign pages, such as prize draws and surveys, for users to participate in and share with friends.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/tech/en/serve/whatislineliff.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
