| **Left sidebar** | Audio player (for live meetings with backup audio, you can switch between "Original Audio / Backup Audio" above the player; see [Meeting Record Backup Audio](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/backup-audio.md)), basic information, participants, and external participants |

## Title Bar <a href="#header-bar" id="header-bar"></a>

### Edit the Meeting Name <a href="#edit-meeting-name" id="edit-meeting-name"></a>

Next to the meeting name is a pencil icon (<mark style="color:blue;">Edit Meeting Record</mark>). Click it, change the <mark style="color:blue;">Meeting Name</mark> (required, up to 255 characters), and save. Once saved, the title and the meeting list are updated together. Only members with transcription permission can see this button. For permission details, see [Permissions](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records.md#permissions).

### Re-transcribe and Download <a href="#retranscribe-and-download" id="retranscribe-and-download"></a>

* <mark style="color:blue;">Re-transcribe</mark>: Transcribe again with a different audio source (original / backup) or a different provider. See [Re-transcribe from Backup Audio](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/backup-audio.md#retranscribe-from-backup)
* <mark style="color:blue;">Download</mark>: The dropdown menu offers <mark style="color:blue;">Download SRT Subtitles</mark> and <mark style="color:blue;">Download MP3 Audio</mark>. See [Download and Knowledge Base Integration](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/download-and-export.md#download-files)

## Transcript Tab <a href="#transcript-tab" id="transcript-tab"></a>

At the top of the tab, you can switch between <mark style="color:blue;">Transcript</mark> (timeline format) and <mark style="color:blue;">Plain Text</mark>. The <mark style="color:blue;">Copy</mark> button next to them copies the entire version currently displayed to the clipboard. The timeline format shows:

* **Timestamps**: The start time of each text segment
* **Speaker Names**: Indicate who is speaking
* **Language Tags**: Labels for the original language
* **Translation Content**: If translation is enabled, the translation results are displayed
* **Keyword Search**: Search for specific content in the transcript

If the transcript is shorter than the audio file, a notice at the top of the tab shows how many minutes are missing at the end and offers a shortcut to re-transcribe from the backup audio. See [Meeting Record Backup Audio](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/backup-audio.md).

### Plain Text <a href="#plain-text-tab" id="plain-text-tab"></a>

Switch to <mark style="color:blue;">Plain Text</mark> to show the transcript as plain text without timestamps, which makes it easy to read and copy the full meeting content. Keyword search is also supported.

## Meeting Summary Tab <a href="#summary-tab" id="summary-tab"></a>

To generate a summary, switch versions, edit, copy, export, and read aloud, see [AI Meeting Summary and Q\&A](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/summary.md).

## AI Q\&A Tab <a href="#qa-tab" id="qa-tab"></a>

Ask questions about the transcript, or ask the Agent to turn action items into tickets. If the transcript has not yet been added to a knowledge base, you can choose a knowledge base in this tab and click <mark style="color:blue;">Upload Transcript</mark>. See [AI Q\&A](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/summary.md#ai-qa) and [Download and Knowledge Base Integration](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/download-and-export.md#upload-to-knowledge-base).

## Meeting Info Sidebar <a href="#meeting-info-sidebar" id="meeting-info-sidebar"></a>

The left sidebar displays:

* **Basic Information**: Meeting date, meeting time, meeting duration, speech recognition provider
* **Participants**: The access list for this meeting (the creator is labeled as the host). You can add or remove members. See [Meeting Access Control](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/access-control.md) for details
* **External Participants**: Names of attendees who are not organization members. You can add or remove them. This is a text-only list and does not grant access. See [External Participants](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/access-control.md#external-participants) for details

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/meeting-detail.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
