# Downloads and Knowledge Base Integration

## Download Files

After meeting processing is complete, you can download the following files:

| Format                    | Description                                   | Use Case                           |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **MP3 Audio**             | Meeting recording in MP3 format               | Archiving, offline playback        |
| **Plain Text Transcript** | Complete transcript in plain text format | Copy and paste, document archiving |
| **SRT Subtitle File** | Transcript in subtitle format with timestamps | Video playback, subtitle import |

On the meeting detail page, go to the "Download" tab and click the corresponding download button to get the file. The plain text transcript can also be copied with one click from the "Plain Text" tab.

## Upload to Knowledge Base

After uploading the meeting transcript to the knowledge base, the Agent can answer questions based on meeting content:

1. On the meeting detail page or list page, select "Upload to Knowledge Base"
2. Select the target knowledge base (if a knowledge base was linked when creating the meeting, it will be pre-filled)
3. Confirm the upload

After uploading, the transcript becomes a document in the knowledge base, and the Agent can retrieve meeting discussion content through RAG.

### Use Cases

* **Project Meetings**: Import each project meeting transcript into the knowledge base so the Agent can answer "What was decided in the last meeting?"
* **Client Interviews**: Import client interview records for easy reference of client requirements
* **Training Records**: Import internal training content to build an organizational knowledge base

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/meeting-records/download-and-export.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
