## Quick Answers <a href="#quick-answers" id="quick-answers"></a>

**How is MaiGPT different from ChatGPT?**

MaiGPT is your company's dedicated Agent. Your data stays inside the company, it can query the company knowledge base, it supports multiple AI models, and it is managed centrally by your company's IT team.

**Do I need to pay?**

No. Usage is managed and paid for centrally by your company.

**Are my conversations secure?**

All conversations are processed within the company environment and are never used to train AI models. See [Security and Privacy](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/faq/security.md) for details.

**How much text can I enter at once?**

The input box has no fixed character limit. How much content can actually be processed depends on the context length of the selected model: the text you enter is sent to the model together with the earlier content of the conversation, attachments, and any retrieved data. The "Context usage" indicator below the input box shows how much of the context this conversation has already used.

For very long content (such as an entire report or a document with tens of thousands of characters), save it as a file and upload it as an attachment; see [Uploading Files and Images](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/chat.md#upload-files-and-images). When context usage is high, use [Conversation Handoff](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/chat/conversation-handoff.md) to summarize the conversation and continue in a new one. For the exact length each model can handle, contact your organization administrator or your MaiAgent representative.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
