# Web Version

MaiGPT web version: log in with the URL provided by your company and start chatting in a browser, no software installation required, plus recommended browsers.

The MaiGPT web version works in any browser with no software installation required. It lives inside the MaiAgent admin console, not on a separate website.

***

## Where to Open It

1. Open your browser and go to the MaiAgent admin login page <https://admin.maiagent.ai/login>. If your company self-hosts (on-premises) or uses a custom domain, use the admin URL provided by your company instead
2. Log in with your account and password (or use SSO). For login methods, see [How to Log In to the Platform](/maiagent-user-guide/en/start/login.md)
3. Click MaiGPT at the top of the left menu to open the chat screen and start asking questions

{% hint style="info" %}

* If MaiGPT does not appear in the left menu, your role does not have "MaiGPT permission". Ask your organization administrator to enable it in [Role Permission Management](/maiagent-user-guide/en/org/roles/role-permission.md#permission-structure-overview).
* If your company uses a custom brand name, the menu shows the company's custom name instead of "MaiGPT".
* You can bookmark this page in your browser so that opening it takes you straight to MaiGPT.
 {% endhint %}

To use it in LINE or Microsoft Teams, see [Using on LINE](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/access/line.md) and [Using on Microsoft Teams](/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/access/teams.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/access/web.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
