# Use on Different Devices

Use MaiGPT on different devices: the web version, LINE, Microsoft Teams, and other supported platforms, the scenarios each suits best, and conversation history sync across devices.

MaiGPT offers multiple ways to chat with AI on any device. Conversation history syncs automatically, so you can continue a discussion from whichever device you log in on.

## Which Should You Choose?

* **The most complete experience** → Web version (supports all features)
* **The most convenient access on the go** → iOS App or LINE
* **Integration with your workflow** → Microsoft Teams

> Conversation history is shared across all platforms. You can start a conversation on your computer and continue on your phone when you're out.

## Using One Account on Multiple Devices

* Sign in to the web version and the iOS App with the same MaiAgent account, and you can stay signed in on multiple devices at once. Signing in on a new device does not sign you out of your other devices.
* Signing out affects only the current device. Your other devices stay signed in.
* Your sign-in session is extended automatically as you use it. If a device goes unused for more than 30 days, you need to sign in again the next time you open it.
* Conversation history is stored on the server, not on your device. When you switch to another device, refresh or reopen the conversation list to see the latest content.
* LINE and Microsoft Teams use identity binding on their own platforms and are not affected by the sign-in behavior above.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.maiagent.ai/maiagent-user-guide/en/work/maigpt/access.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
